CSO Roundtables
The CSO Network organizes regular, closed-door roundtable discussions designed exclusively for its members. These roundtables are intimate, invitation-only events aimed at fostering in-depth, candid conversations on pressing sustainability issues. The format encourages collaborative dialogue, allowing members to share insights, best practices, and challenges in a trusted environment. By focusing on a single topic per roundtable, participants can engage deeply, explore innovative solutions, and strengthen their professional networks.
2025 Biodiversity Forum
At the IUCN World Conservation Congress in Abu Dhabi, the CSO Network, together with MoCCAE, EAD, and ADNOC, co-hosted the 2025 Biodiversity Forum under the theme “Learning from Nature, Acting for Nature.”
Held at the UAE Pavilion, the Forum explored how businesses and nature are deeply connected — every enterprise depends on healthy ecosystems, and every innovation can be designed to give back to them.
By learning from nature, leaders shared how its resilience and balance can inspire smarter, more sustainable growth.
CSO Impact Dialogue
On 2 October 2025 at the Abu Dhabi Energy Centre, the CSO Network Impact Dialogue convened over 100 leaders from government, business, academia and civil society to examine how technologies, resource resilience, and next-generation skills are redefining sustainability. Held under Chatham House Rule, the Dialogue offered a safe space for open reflection on how the agenda is shifting beyond compliance toward measurable value, inclusivity, and long-term resilience.
Conversations highlighted artificial intelligence’s potential when paired with governance and upskilling, affirmed sustainability’s role as a central value driver in business, and underscored water security and resource management as urgent regional needs. Participants reaffirmed that sustainability is not optional — it is strategic.
The Dialogue’s insights will feed into upcoming CSO Network initiatives — including the AI × Sustainability Survey 2025, leadership fellowships, and further Impact Dialogues — as the Network continues to turn ambition into action.
